JUNIPER PUBLISHERS-   ACADEMIC JOURNAL OF POLYMER SCIENCE Abstract Deep Eutectic Solvents (DESs), a subclass of ionic liquids, have emerged as sustainable and green solvents in chemical reactions. In this mini-review article, deep eutectic solvents utilization in the polymer synthesis will be discussed briefly. Keywords: Deep eutectic solvents; Polymer synthesis; Green chemistry Abbrevations: DES: Deep Eutectic Solvents; HBA: Hydrogen Bond Acceptor; HBD: Hydrogen Bond Donor; PDCs: Poly Diol-Co-Citrates; PAAc: Poly (Acrylic Acid); PMAAc: Poly Methacrylic Acid; APS: Ammonium Persulfate; EM: Eutectic Mixture; FP: Frontal polymerization  ...

The Making Process of Go/CT/PTFE Flat Sliding Plate of High-Speed Railway Bridge Spherical Bearings- Juniper Publishers

Image
Juniper publishers- Academic Journal of Polymer Science Authored by  Shou-ren Wang According to the rapid development of high-speed railway, the importance of spherical bridge bearings has attracted lots of attention as an essential connected part between bridge and pillar [1,2]. As you know, high-speed railway spherical bearings consist of upper bearings plate, spherical plate, under plate, flat stainless-steel plate, flat sliding plate, spherical stainless steel plate, spherical sliding plate, sealing ring, anchor bolt, dustproof shield [3,4]. Flat sliding plate is an indispensable part of spherical bearings since the displacement ability of bearings is determined by the sliding behavior between flat stainless-steel plate and flat sliding plate. Microdroplet Chemistry: Difference of Organic Reactions between Bulk Solution and Aqueous Microdroplets- Juniper Publishers

Image
Juniper Publishers-  Academic Journal of Polymer Science Authored by Inho Nam Recent applications of microdroplet reactions are noted as reaction acceleration in confined environments and possible future scale-up synthesis compare to that of bulk phase reactions. Microdroplet reactions overcome the thermodynamic and kinetic challenges in an aqueous solution. Due to the microdroplet’s distinctive surface environment, the chemistry in Microdroplets significantly differs from that in the bulk solution.
